Through the years of use you’ll get out of your Rival slow cooker, you may enter a situation where you’re looking for rival crock pot parts. Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean these are bad crock pots, but rather that people use them often! In a kitchen full of other appliances and for those who use their crockpot regularly (during the winter and even sometimes in the summer), hinges and glass parts such as the lid are bound to need replacement.
One such part that is often replaced are the Rival Crock Pot Lids. These will fit 2.5 Quart Rival crock pots (models 3100, 3101, 3102, 3103, 3130, 3133, 3120, 3250), or they come in a larger size for Rival slow cookers that are 4 Quarts (model 3154). They are also made for the Rival VersaWare Crockpots too. I don’t know why they don’t make these out of impact resistant glass, such as some oven glass is made from (at first thought, I had though maybe this was due to heating issues, but tons of glassware has been developed for oven use).
Knobs are pretty easy to find online and even easier to replace. They run a couple bucks and are simple “click in” replacement. I wouldn’t even attempt to replace a power cord or anything to do with electricity, as I’m sure a lot of things can go wrong here and wouldn’t want to create a fire hazard in my kitchen (I’m sure I’ve already got plenty of these, toasters, the stove).
Anyway, in closing, if you’ve got a problem with your crock, no worries. Replacement parts are plentiful and widely available online. Rival makes some of the best crock pots and slow cookers on the market (much like Jenn Air Grills), treat it well (and even if you don’t) you’ll have plenty of years of cooking and eating enjoyment!
