One of the most popular Rival made crockpots out there is the Versaware line of crock pots. The model numbers are as follows:
- SC7500 5 quart stainless steel crockpot
- SC7600 6 quart stainless steel brushed crockpot
- SCV1600B-SS VersaWare PRO crockpot
Now, while I don’t have direct, hands on experience with each of these models, I do own the SCV1600B – VersaWare pro slow cooker. Let me just say — this 6 quart, stoneware oval appliance is incredible. Hands down it’s probably the single best crock-pot on the market. From the programmable timer, to the multiple use crock insert to each of the three (yes, 3) heat settings, this baby is meant for a serious kitchen and seriously big stomached family! After your timer has lapsed and the food is done cooking it automatically switches to a lower, “warm” setting to keep the food warm but not overcook it! How nice is that?!
I also believe it to be one of the few non-stick stoneware slow cookers on the market and its dishwasher safe, oven safe, microwave safe, you can cook up some food in this crock anywhere with a multitude of methods. Price wise you’re looking at about $85 to $100 bucks. Not bad considering you’ll never need a replacement rival crock pot part.
